Information for Participants in the November 8 Phoenix forum

Thank you again for agreeing to join us for Informing NASA’s Asteroid Initiative: A Citizens Forum in Phoenix on Saturday, November 8th, 2014. Below you will find and agenda and transportation information. It is very important that you arrive no later than 8:30AM so the program can begin promptly at 9AM. We will begin at the Arizona Science Center at 9:00 am in the planetarium and then move across the street to ASU Mercado C 145. There will be signs and volunteers to direct you.

10:15  – 11:45 AM Planetary Defense 1:  Detection ASU Mercado
11:45 – 1:15 PM Planetary Defense 2:  Mitigation ASU Mercado
1:15 – 2:15 PM Lunch ASU Mercado
2:15 – 3:15 PM ARM A vs. B ASU Mercado

There are a few very important items, which require action on your part in a timely and orderly manner.

Before November 8th:

  1. Please go online to complete the pre-survey
  2. Please read the background information attached. It will give you an idea about the basics of what will be discussed.
  1. BEFORE you come to the meeting, please print, read, sign and date the two forms listed below and attached and bring them with you when you come to the meeting. If you are unable to print, we will have copies available for you to read and sign when you check in.
