Involving the Public in Participatory Scenario Planning
May 26, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

How can the co-development of climate research help us plan for uncertain futures?
Making decisions about the consequences and tradeoffs of land management strategies under a changing climate is complex. Co-developing participatory scenarios with the public and decision makers can help plan for these uncertain futures. Join Victoria Keener (Arizona State University) for a discussion of a multi-year stakeholder-intensive process on Groundwater Recharge to simulate impacts of development, conservation, and climate change. The co-development of participatory scenario planning and modeling can accelerate the uptake of complex climate data and projections into local decision making.
